A comprehensive 8 week beginner arabic class for all-ages children starting 7 years old to adults: Reading and writing arabic.

The Arabic program provides the opportunity for children and adults in the community to read and write with well qualified and experienced staff. The program will be an ongoing after-school program meeting twice a week Monday and Thursday 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Arabic reading fluency is not required to enroll in this program.

Seerah Series
The Seerah program discusses information about the life of the Prophet PBUH in a manner that is not only informative, but also interesting.

- Kid focused, but adults will also find this Seerah series informative and interesting.
Presented in a manner that is suitable for the kids. - Slides and other interactive means will be used to hold everyone’s interest.
- We will also look to employ new ways to maintain interest and evolve as we get along as we learn from our experiences.
- Covered in chronological manner from the very beginning.

Friday Night Halaqah
This program discusses different topics in Islam in order to improve the knowledge base and understanding of Islam for children and adults.

opportunities to better understand Islam in a setting that addresses the needs and challenges of children learning of Islam. Topics covered include Aqeeda, Fiqh, Seerah, Morals, and others.
Different speakers are invited to lead the discussion on a specific topic.

2nd and 4th Fridays of the month: Seerah of the Prophet (pbuh)
3rd Friday of the month: Discussions from the book Meadows of the Righteous by Imam an-Nawawi
5th Friday of the month: Special topic.

Quran Recitation
This program teaches the correct recitation of the Quran by emphasizing the mastery of rules of Tajweed. It is offered to youth and adult men.

Quran Reading & Hifz
We offer a 100% online Quran program for school-age children: Reading the Quran from cover to cover and Hifz (Quran Memorization).

Hifz program provides the opportunity for children in the community to read and memorize the Quran with well qualified and experienced staff. The program will be an ongoing after-school program meeting twice a week. Quran reading fluency is required to enroll in this program. Students will be evaluated at enrollment, and if more reading competency is needed, they will be required to take the Quran Reading Intensive course (Weekend School) before attending.
The program will be taught by eight staff members (Br. Mustapha, Br. Maaz, Br. Adam, Sr. Salma, Sr. Rukhsana, Br. Abdalla, Br. Wa’el, Br. Abdul Jabbar) who have the qualification and experience teaching — combined experience over 20 years in education, reading, and memorization.
Schedule
Every Monday and Thursday, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, starting September 14th, 2020. The total program is for three months.
Fees
$60 per month/student + $30 Administration Fee. Total per-student fees for the quarter (3 months) $210. The monthly payment option is available. Please email Mohammad Battah (education@etcic.org) for any questions and discount options for multiple students.

Quran Tafseer
This program discusses the meaning, or Tafseer, of a set of verses of the Quran with separate classes for both youth and adults.
