Community Outreach

Since its founding, ETCIC has always been proud to be involved in many community outreach activities. All volunteers are welcome!

Food Shelf

Are you or your family members hungry?

The Food Shelf operates with the philosophy that people in need of food should have access to this most fundamental of human needs. We strive to respond to the need for food in a manner that is compassionate and promotes respect for the individual, regardless of age, race, gender, religion or disability.

The food shelf is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays one hour before Maghrib (sunset).

We appreciate donations of all sizes from individuals, organizations, and businesses. You can contribute financially or bring in non-perishable items.

Adopt-A-Park

The Adopt-A-Park program is a public service program run by the city of Woodbury that encourages volunteers to adopt a lake or park for regular maintenance and cleanups, including picking up litter and planting flowers. Under this program, ETCIC has adopted the Colby Lake park.

The city provides necessary equipment for the cleanups and a sign at the chosen site as recognition for the volunteer group.

ETCIC is always looking for volunteers to successfully serve the community. Get more hasanat by becoming a volunteer.
