Multipurpose Hall

ETCIC is excited to announce plans for a state-of-the-art multipurpose hall, designed to enrich the lives of our community members of all ages. This project aims to address current challenges while providing a versatile space that fosters physical activity, learning, social connection, and spiritual growth.

A Space for Recreation and Wellness
Our new hall will feature a play area for children, youth, and adults, along with indoor facilities for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. A dedicated walking path will be especially beneficial during the winter months, promoting health and wellness year-round. These amenities aim to create a welcoming environment where individuals and families can stay active and engage with one another in meaningful ways.

Enhancing Social and Educational Opportunities
The facility will serve as a hub for dining, socialization, and community events, with dedicated spaces for dinners, social gatherings, and youth hangouts. Additionally, classrooms and additional educational areas will support the growing needs of our weekend school. By eliminating the challenges of frequent setup and teardown, we hope to create a more conducive learning environment for children and adults alike.

Expanding Our Spiritual Spaces
During peak times such as Jumah and Eid, our current prayer spaces are often insufficient. The new hall will provide overflow capacity for worship, ensuring that everyone has a comfortable and peaceful space to pray. The hall will also address storage needs and include a storm shelter, offering safety and security during severe weather.

Children’s Playground

The ETCIC is always looking for ways to build a strong and inclusive community. We host several programs and fun activities for kids of all ages on a regular basis. An outdoor playground is another step towards one of the goals of the ETCIC – the playground is something that our kids can enjoy and will also serve to bring our families together.

The play area for kid aged 2-5 will be fenced in for additional safety.

The outdoor playground project is planned to be implemented during the early part of Summer 2020. We are thankful to our leading patron, donors and parents. We are also seeking additional help from the community to bring the project to fruition, In Sha Allah!

The project includes the following equipment.

• Play system with 5 slides, tunnels, monkey bars, pull-up bars, climbers (Ages 5 -12)
• Swing set with 4 sets – 2 seats for (Ages 2 -5) and 2 for (Ages 5 – 12)
• See-saw set – 4 seat (Ages 5 – 12)
• Play system with 3 slides, tunnels, climbers (Ages 2 -5)
• Gator walk for kids (Ages 2 -5)
• Caterpillar for kid (Ages 2 -5)
• Single station parallel bars (Age 13+)
• 2 Benches
• 2 Picnic Tables
• Rubber mulch flooring

The play area for ages 2-5 will be fenced for additional safety.
